No-Refund and Digital Product Policy

Bassett Homes sells copyrighted digital residential plan files and a limited license for one authorized project. Because each plan set is prepared and identified to the purchaser’s authorized property, and because digital files may be accessed and copied once delivered and cannot be physically returned, all sales are final once the file or download access is delivered, except where a non-waivable law requires otherwise.

Each plan set is prepared for your specific property and delivered within three to five business days. If you need to cancel, contact us in writing before your plan set is delivered and we will refund your purchase in full. Once your plans have been emailed to you, all sales are final.

Bassett Homes does not provide refunds, credits, exchanges, or cancellations because a plan:

• does not fit the purchaser’s lot, setbacks, easements, topography, orientation, height restriction, HOA covenant, or subdivision standard;
• requires local code revisions, engineering, a site-specific foundation, energy calculations, structural work, or additional site-specific design or professional services;
• is denied or conditionally reviewed by a building, zoning, planning, HOA, lender, insurer, or other authority;
• exceeds a construction budget or changes in estimated cost;
• is incompatible with a purchaser’s software, printer, preferred paper size, contractor workflow, or desired editable format;
• differs from an illustrative rendering, photograph, material selection, constructed variation, or marketing image; or
• is no longer desired because the purchaser’s property, builder, financing, schedule, taste, or project plans changed.

A purchaser who receives a corrupted, unreadable, or materially incomplete file must notify Bassett Homes within five business days after delivery. Bassett Homes’ sole obligation is to replace the affected file. This remedy does not authorize a refund and does not apply to lot fit, code, permit, design preference, or construction concerns.

Before initiating a payment dispute, the purchaser must contact bassetthomedesign@gmail.com and allow Bassett Homes a reasonable opportunity to confirm delivery and address a genuine file-access issue. A chargeback does not cancel the copyright restrictions, transfer ownership, or authorize continued use of a plan without payment.
